In Class

Today in class, we discussed 4 different Comic Storytelling Methods.
They are:

1) Full Script

• writer creates a Full Script, with Page/Panel descriptions, keeping track of Page Count and Pacing.
• Artist thumbnails entire story, accounting for Copy and Art.

2) Marvel Methods

• writer creates a Plot Synopsis
• Artist thumbnails the entire story, indicating preferred placement of Copy
• writer adds copy to the finished Pencil Art

3) Kurtzman Method

• writer creates thumbnails with Final Copy
• Artist follows the thumbnails

4) Page Builder

• Artist writes and draws directly on page
• No Script, Layout or concern for Page Count

After that, we got in a line to choose our story for our final project. I got three options:
